Hello everyone!
As always, I’m hoping that today finds all of you well. For this update, I’m wanting to introduce you to one character from my second book that will come out soon (TBD), called, “Shadows of Willow Creek”.
I’m honestly not sure how this story came to be. I know I had been working out several story ideas, and elements from this book were sort of dancing around in the back of my mind. However, when I was approached about writing for this anthology, it just made its way to the forefront, and I ended up loving the idea.
It is a mystery, with some light paranormal elements. I wouldn’t dare put it anywhere near the horror genre, however. Ultimately, it is a story about friendship, and how those ties bind us together, and the things we would do for one another.
So, with that, I would like to introduce my main character, Gracie Carter. Gracie is an intelligent young lady, who has a penchant for solving puzzles and loves reading mystery novels. Her favorites being from the "Nancy Drew" series. After a particular wild evening in her small town, she notices some strange correlations between events that seem to go back centuries. After a harrowing evening with her closest friends, she has to work with them to solve the ancient mystery that seems to have taken over her town, and save her best friend, Mia.
I hope that has piqued your interests, as I promise to spend the next few weeks introducing you to more of the characters, and discussing some of the strange occurrences around their little town.
