Hello, my lovelies!

I have been very busy working on a timeline for another story, creating characters, backgrounds and trying to figure out how I want to pull some of this story off. Because it sounds fantastic in my head, but it’s getting from point A to point B that is tripping me up, just a smidge.

However, I truly love the concept, so I’m going to turn this into something that I hope will be interesting to all of you. I’m angling for something that is a mystery, with a slight paranormal bite to it.

I’m finding myself very inspired by creepy buildings, interesting cemetery architecture and twisted old trees. And I want to photograph them, and I’m constantly thinking of intricate background stories.

Hopefully, I can turn them into something to be proud of. Today was supposed to be the cover reveal for “The Fae Chronicles; Battle for the Underworld.” But alas, life sometimes gets messy. We’ve had a series of fun illnesses rumbling around our household for about two weeks now. So, it is my greatest hope that this next week will have it completed. I’m super excited to share it with all of you.

However, as mentioned, I’m working on another story. I’m pretty excited about this one, as I don’t write a lot of mysteries. But I think this one has such a great story line.

The setting takes place in Willow Creek, Texas. Not a real location, however, it is a quaint—small town in central Texas, nestled between lush forests and a forked river along the beautiful hill country. The town is known for its charming old buildings, friendly locals, and a close-knit community.

However, beneath its idyllic surface lies a web of secrets and dark history that the townsfolk would rather forget. Currently, I’m calling it, “Shadows of Willow Creek,” but my heart isn’t really set on the title, so I’m likely going to change it soon. I’ll keep everyone updated on the progress, as well as my progress on "The Return" that I’m co-writing with Jenna Campbell. Because I’m very excited for both projects to be released! Included is an AI art generated piece that I “made”. Usually I like to feature mine or my husband’s art and/or photography, but felt this captured Chapter one of my current story nicely. Enjoy!
